PORTLAND – Kayla Burchill had 32 points and 10 rebounds Thursday to power Deering to a 51-45 victory against South Portland in a Southern Maine Activities Association schoolgirl basketball game.

Ella Ramonas and Emily Cole each added six points for Deering (5-0), Cole with two 3-pointers.

Danica Gleason and Danielle DiBiase combined for 23 of the 45 points for South Portland (2-3).

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 35, LISBON 31: Daisi Poole scored nine points, and Kristine Kahl added eight points and 10 rebounds to lead the Mustangs (3-2) over the Greyhounds (2-3) at Lisbon Falls.

Allicyn Fitzgerald scored nine points for Lisbon.

MASSABESIC 59, NOBLE 47: Emily Schatz had 16 points and eight rebounds to help the Mustangs (3-2) down the Knights (2-3) at Waterboro.

Kayla Schneider added 12 points, including eight in the second quarter as Massabesic used an 18-9 run to open a 30-19 lead.

Stephanie Ruger had 16 points for Noble.

SANFORD 56, MARSHWOOD 38: Shae Riley scored 17 points with nine rebounds, Lindsey Nolette had 15 points and the Redskins (3-1) used a third-quarter rally to defeat the Hawks (2-3) at Sanford.

Nolette and Riley each had four points in the third quarter as the Redskins used a 17-4 run for a 43-23 lead.

Taylor Flood added 12 points and six assists for Sanford.

Mallory McPherson led the Hawks with 12 points.

YORK 54, GREELY 28: Stephanie Gallagher had 20 points, five assists and four steals, and Nicole Taylor added 16 points to lead the Wildcats (6-0) past Greely (5-1) at York.

Gallagher scored all of her points in the second half, including 12 during a 22-7 third-quarter run that gave the Wildcats a 37-18 lead.

Megan Cole had 10 points for the Rangers.

WINDHAM 29, WESTBROOK 23: Meghan Gribbin scored 11 points with seven rebounds and three steals to lead the Eagles (4-1) over the Blue Blazes (1-3) at Windham.

Gribbin made all four of her free throws in the final minute when Westbrook was forced to foul.

Diandra Berthiaume finished with 12 rebounds for Windham.

Ashlee Richards had seven points for Westbrook.

MORSE 53, CONY 44: Nikoline Ostergaard and Emma Block combined for 32 points and 10 defensive rebounds for the Shipbuilders (5-0), who rallied from a 23-17 halftime deficit against the Rams (2-3) at Bath.

Block had six of her 15 points in a 20-10 third-quarter run.

BIDDEFORD 39, SCARBOROUGH 34: Keila Grigware scored 16 points and Amethyst Hersom chipped in with 11 as the Tigers (1-4) handled the Red Storm (0-5) at Scarborough.

Brittany Bona had eight points and 13 rebounds for Scarborough, and Mo Hannan added eight points, three steals and two assists.

TRAIP ACADEMY 48, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 33: Carolin Reinke had 14 points and 13 rebounds to help the Rangers (4-1) defeat the Seagulls (0-5) at Kittery.

Selena Lorrey and Sarah Orr added 13 points each for Traip, which got out to a 15-5 first-quarter lead.

GORHAM 60, BONNY EAGLE 46: Mia Rapolla scored 25 points for the Rams (4-1), who pulled away from the Scots (2-3) in the final four minutes at Standish.

Gorham led 24-16 at the half, but Bonny Eagle pulled within two with four minutes to play. Rapolla’s 11 fourth-quarter free throws helped the Rams put it away. Kristin Ross added five points from the line.

Alicia Hoyt led the Scots with 20 points.

HALL-DALE 57, GEORGES VALLEY 49: Carylanne Wolf-ington scored 13 points and Taylor Massey added 12 to lead the Bulldogs (5-0) past Georges Valley (2-3) at Farmingdale.

EL/LEAVITT 6, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 0: Taylor Landry and Kayla Royer scored two goals each to lead Leavitt (4-2-1) past Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (2-6) at Portland.

Shaylin Collins and Tori Couture also scored, and Shelbea Russell provided two assists.

GREELY 2, FALMOUTH 1: Meg Finlay broke a 1-1 tie with her second goal on a power play with 3:15 left and the Rangers (5-2) went on to beat the Yachtsmen (1-6) at Falmouth.

Ceci Hodgkins and Paige Tuller assisted on the goal.

Finlay also scored from Casey Benner late in the first period.

Monica Aaskov scored from Sammy Welch in the second for Falmouth.

BRUNSWICK 8, GORHAM-BONNY EAGLE 3: Rachel Moroney had three goals, and Jennifer Machin and Suzannah Smith each had two as the Dragons (2-5-1) handled Gorham/Bonny Eagle (0-8) at Brunswick.

Sarah Thibeault also scored and Annie Kelly had four assists for the Dragons, who scored four goals in the third period.

Rachel Litis had two goals and an assist for Gorham/Bonny Eagle.
