12/25 at 7:12 a.m. Wayne King, 31, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Joshua Robinson on Route 1 on a charge of failure to provide correct name, address and date of birth.

Police advise drivers to lock doors

12/24 at 10:58 a.m. Police report a resident, who had gone into Napa Auto Parts on Main Street, left his vehicle unlocked and when he returned to the car, $500 was missing.

Christmas eve crunch

12/24 at 3:59 p.m. According to police, as a pickup truck backed out of a parking space at Hannaford Supermarket shopping center, it struck and damaged the car parked next to it. The driver of the truck drove away, but a third party saw the incident and wrote down the license plate number. Police were able to track down the owner of the truck. Police reported $2,000 in damage to the truck and $3,000 to the car it struck.

Grinch who stole Christmas (cards)

12/25 at 12:01 p.m. Police report mail from Bluff Road was found on Marina Road. Only Christmas cards had been opened.
