The Maine Alpine Triple Crown ski racing event for youth skiers ages 9-14 will be held on consecutive Fridays at three different venues beginning Jan. 28. Age categories in each gender are 9-10 year-olds, 11-12 year-olds and 13-14 year-olds. Awards will be given at each individual event and overall.
The schedule is as follows: Jan. 28, dual giant slalom at Titcomb Mountain; Feb. 4, slalom at Lost Valley; Feb. 11, giant slalom at Mt. Abram. Each event will cost $15. Entries must include a $15 check, the skier’s name, gender and age as of Jan. 1, 2011 and be mailed to each of the following addresses: Todd Richard, Race Director, Titcomb Mountain, 116 Orchard St., Farmington, ME, 04938; Jodd Bowles, Race Director, Lost Valley, 200 Lost Valley Rd., Auburn ME, 04210; Mark Thibodeau, Race Director, Mt.
