Freeport athletic administrator Craig Sickels received his National Federation of State High School Associations citation Dec. 18 in Orlando, Fla. Sickels was one of eight ADs honored from across the country for his contributions to interscholastic athletics. Sickels has been an administrator at Freeport High since 1994. He was also the school’s boys’ basketball coach for many years.
