PORTLAND — Darfuri and southern Sudanese speakers will share their stories and discuss the political climate in Sudan at the Hour Exchange, 516 Congress St., on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 17, from 7-9 p.m.
“From My Eyes: Sudanese in Maine and Beyond,” is open to the public and will include presentations and a question and answer session with the speakers.
International refreshments will be served and the groups will be soliciting donations to support local organizations, including one of the event sponsors, the Fur Cultural Revival.
