ADMIRALS NOTES: In the midst of a four-game swing through the Northeast, the Admirals have won five of their last six games. Goalie Dustin Tokarski has started 10 of the last 14 games and has allowed a total of five goals in his last four starts. Former UNH forward Matt Fortunato has three goals in his last four games. Veteran LW Chris Durno played 12 games for the Pirates in the 2006-07 season.

PIRATES NOTES: Mark Mancari, the AHL Player of the Week, leads the league with 26 goals and has an 11-game points streak, with hat tricks in his last two games and a total of 12 goals and eight assists during his streak. Portland is 6-1-0 in its last seven games. During a trip to Virginia in October, the Pirates outscored the Admirals 13-11 while pulling out two victories – one in a shootout and one in overtime. Forwards Colin Stuart and Dennis McCauley each have five-game points streak and defenseman Dennis Persson has scored power-play goals in his last two games.
