BANGOR — A northern Maine man will have a bail hearing this week in a marijuana distribution case involving hundreds of pounds of pot.

Fifty-three-year-old Paul Corbin of Madawaska made his first appearance Monday in U.S. District Court in Bangor following his arrest late Friday. A bail hearing is scheduled Thursday.

According to court documents quoted by the Bangor Daily News, investigators found more than 207 pounds of marijuana in a storage trailer owned by Corbin. They allegedly found another 97 pounds of marijuana, 177 methamphetamine pills and $53,000 in cash at Corbin’s home.
