TURNER — Maine State Police say they have broken up a “fight club” at Leavitt Area High School in Turner.
A police report says one member of the club created a Facebook page and posted videos of several fights on YouTube.
State Police say several students and a former student were charged last week in connection with the club.
Several students will face prize fighting charges in juvenile court. Police did not release the exact number of students charged.
One 18-year-old former student was charged with burglary and unlawful fighting.
The Sun Journal newspaper says State Police Trooper Michael Chavez investigated the case for several months.
