NEW LONDON, Conn. – Rob Harrigan hit a 3-pointer with six seconds remaining to complete a 10-0 run that lifted Connecticut College to a 62-60 victory over Bowdoin in a NESCAC men’s basketball game Friday night.

Ryan O’Connell had 15 points and Justin Nowell scored 14 for Polar Bears (13-9, 2-6 NESCAC) against the Camels (12-11, 3-5).

WESLEYAN 70, COLBY 65: Sasha Brown scored 21 points to lead the Cardinals (11-12, 2-6) over the Mules (10-13, 1-7) at Middletown, Conn.

Christian Van Loenen had 21 points and seven rebounds for the Mules.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

BOWDOIN 81, CONN. COLLEGE 33: Katie Bergeron had 17 points and eight rebounds to lead the Polar Bears (19-4, 5-3 NESCAC) past Camels (8-14, 1-7) at New London, Conn.

COLBY 67, WESLEYAN 49: Rachael Mack had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Jules Kowalski added 11 points and six rebounds to lead the visiting Mules (19-4, 6-2 NESCAC) to a win over the Cardinals (7-15, 0-8).

(5) DUKE 82, WAKE FOREST 39: Jasmine Thomas scored 17 points as Duke (22-2, 8-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) routed Wake Forest (12-14, 3-7) at Winston-Salem, N.C.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

USM 2, CASTLETON STATE 0: Kailey Bubier scored 2:15 into the game and Jordan Lee made 10 saves as the Huskies (7-13-2, 5-9-1 ECAC East) beat the Spartans (5-14-2, 3-11-1) at Gorham.

Courtney White added a goal with 6:26 left in the second.

MAINE 1, BOSTON COLLEGE 1: Brittany Ott made 37 saves and Jennie Gallo scored in the second period as the Black Bears (10-15-5, 4-11-3 Hockey East) tied the Eagles (19-5-5, 12-3-3) at Chestnut Hill, Mass.

TRINITY 2, COLBY 0: Kim Weiss scored both goals for the Bantams (13-3-4, 6-3-3 NESCAC) against the Mules (7-14-0, 3-10) at Hartford, Conn.

Colby’s Brianne Wheeler had 29 saves.

BOWDOIN 6, WESLEYAN 1: Stephanie Ludy scored twice and Kenzie Novak had a goal and an assist to lead the Polar Bears (13-6-2) past the Cardinals (2-16-1) at Middletown, Conn.

CONN. COLLEGE 6, USM 1: John Grandinetti scored for the Huskies (5-12-4, 3-11-2 ECAC East/NESCAC) against the Camels (7-11-3, 6-9-1) at New London, Conn.

TRINITY 4, BOWDOIN 2: Jeff Fanning and Kyle Shearer-Hardy scored for Bowdoin (13-6-1, 9-6-1 NESCAC) against the visiting Bantams (9-8-3, 6-8-1).

COLBY 4, WESLEYAN 2: Wil Hartigan, Scott Harff and Spike Smigelski scored as the Mules (9-9-2, 8-6-2 NESCAC) built a 3-0 lead and held off the Cardinals (7-9-3, 6-8-1) at Waterville.

TUFTS 6, UNE 5: Sean Sullivan scored two power-play goals for UNE (4-17) against Tufts (5-14-1) at Malden, Mass.
