RANGELEY — Single skiers are getting a deal at a Maine ski area today. And they may even get a date.
Saddleback Mountain is offering a special $25 lift ticket for singles using the double-chair lift.
JoAnne Taylor, marketing director, says participants will be given a red heart on their lanyard. The idea is for like-minded singles to get to know each other while the eight-minute lift to the top.
Taylor says those who find romance on the ski lift can ski together. Those who don’t hit it off can go their separate ways.
