2/14 at 8:46 p.m. Nichole L. Gomes, 22, of Heather Way, Gorham, was arrested on Ashley Drive by Officer Andrew Flynn on a warrant.

2/18 at 2:56 a.m. Ashley C. Mcpherson, 19, of Stone Road, was arrested on Coachlantern Lane West by Sgt. Mary Pearson on charges of operating under the influence, operating a vehicle without a license and transportation of liquor by a minor.

2/18 at 12:30 p.m. Jake B. Barrett, 20, of High Point Road, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Douglas Weed on a charge of burglary of a motor vehicle.

Summonses

2/14 at 1:11 p.m. A 16-year-old female was issued a summons on Municipal Drive by Detective Francis Plourd on a charge of possession of marijuana.

2/14 at 5:20 p.m. Roslynn M. Landry, 50, of George Connors Road, Hollis, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of displaying a fictitious vehicle inspection certificate.

2/18 at 10:18 p.m. Robert J. Whiteford, 23, of Ocean Street, South Portland, was issued a summons on Cummings Road by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of sale/use of drug paraphernalia.

2/19 at 8:27 p.m. Shane Raymond Howard Keene, 21, of Poland Road, Auburn, was issued a summons on County Road by Officer Garrett Strout on charges of possession of marijuana and sale/use of drug paraphernalia.

Close, but no cigar

2/14 at 10:49 a.m. A random K9 drug search of the high school parking lot and hallways was cut short after a student left a Bunsen burner on in a science classroom, causing a fire alarm to go off. Students were evacuated. Later, a teacher reported a female student hiding her backpack behind a couch when she saw the dogs on campus. The student was sent to the principal’s office, where her backpack was searched. Police found a small amount of marijuana and a lighter. She was charged with possession marijuana.

2/19 at 11:27 p.m. Officers and firefighters responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident where a car went up onto a snow bank and hit a telephone pole, causing the power lines to come down across Old Blue Point Road. The driver allegedly left the scene of the accident. Her car, a 2008 Toyota Prius, was found in her driveway and police questioned her, however no charges were filed.
