STANDISH — The Naval Criminal Investigation Service and local police are investigating the disappearance in Arizona of a Marine from Standish.
The parents of Cpl. Joshua Barron are appealing for help from anyone who may know what happened to him. Barron was last seen by his roommate on March 15.
The 22-year-old Barron, who lives in an apartment off base, is stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., where he’s an engineer and mechanic with Marine Logistics Squadron 13.
A base spokeswoman says nothing is being ruled out, but she indicates that NCIS investigators report that there’s nothing to point toward him being a victim of foul play.
