PORTLAND — The Time & Temperature Building will be flashing “ILAP CELE” this week to promote a Friday fundraising event held by the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project.
Attendees to the event, called the Cele Soirée, can taste international food, hear live African music and bid in a silent auction on photographs and art donated by Maine artists and businesses.
The Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project provides low-cost legal assistance to low-income immigrant residents.
In its seventh year, the Cele Soirée will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Portland Company, 58 Fore St. Tickets cost $30 if purchased in advance and $35 if purchased Friday.
The sign space was donated by the Law Offices of Joe Bornstein.
