BAR HARBOR — Two students from Greely High School in Cumberland took first and second place honors Saturday at the 2011 Maine State Science Fair, held at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor.
Michelle Kahn was the grand prize, or first place, winner, while Eliza McKenney took second place.
Devin Fletcher of Watershed School in Rockland took third place honors.
More than 100 students from 15 schools took place in the state science fair, which was being held at The Jackson Laboratory for the first time.
Project topic areas ranged from energy and environmental management to physics and astronomy.
