BRUNSWICK — Members of the Maine Green Independent Party are gathering for the party’s annual statewide convention.
Today’s convention is being held at the Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick.
Party members will elect officers and committee members, hear the treasurer’s report, examine the party’s bylaws and platform, set goals and hold an awards luncheon. Speakers at the convention include state Rep. Ben Chipman, Portland City Councilor David Marshall and former state Rep. John Eder.
