FALMOUTH – Jessica DiPhilippo and Vanessa Audet scored three goals each Thursday to lead Falmouth to a 13-10 victory against North Yarmouth Academy in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Lilly Wellenbach scored five goals for NYA (2-3).

Meg Aaskov made nine saves for the Yachtsmen (4-1); Francis Leslie had eight for the Panthers.

 

GORHAM 16, THORNTON ACADEMY 5: Mia Rapolla had seven goals and three assists as the Rams (4-0) beat Thornton Academy (3-2) at Gorham.

Lindsey Smith added five goals and an assist, Kali St. Germain scored twice and Maureen Clements had 11 saves for Gorham.

MCAULEY 18, BIDDEFORD 8: Tori Tenenbaum had five goals and three assists, and Mary Leasure added five goals as the Lions (3-2) downed the Tigers (0-4) at Portland.

Tenenbaum scored three times in the second half as McAuley pulled away after a 7-5 halftime lead.

 

FREEPORT 13, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Becca Lane had four goals as the Falcons (3-2) downed the Raiders (0-3) at Fryeburg.

Alex Mitch, Meredith Broderick and Jess Hench added two goals apiece for Freeport.

MASSABESIC 7, MARSHWOOD 4: Nikki Smith scored three goals and Meghan Mannering made five saves as the Mustangs (3-1) topped the Hawks (3-2) at South Berwick.

Sam Emmons and Stephanie Gray also scored for Massabesic.

 

WINDHAM 12, PORTLAND 9: Samantha Gifford had five goals and two assists for Windham (3-2), which used five unanswered goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half to take an 11-6 lead at Portland.

Leah Chasse and Christian Pollard added two goals apiece for the Eagles.

SANFORD 10, WESTBROOK 9: Haley Nordmann scored the winning goal with 6:41 left as the Redskins (2-2) edged Westbrook (2-2) at Sanford.

Brooke Peterson finished with five goals, and Nordmann and Nicole Bordeau added two apiece for Sanford.

 

CHEVERUS 10, DEERING 5: Alex Logan and Michaela Weeks scored three goals apiece to lead the Stags (1-4) past the visiting Rams (0-4) at Portland.

Meredith Willard added two goals and Ali Saxton made 10 saves for Cheverus, which led 7-3 at the half.

SOUTH PORTLAND 18, NOBLE 2: Felicia Farnham, Nikki LaPlante, Becca Roberts and Anh Nguyen each had three goals as the Red Riots (3-0) downed the Knights (0-5) at North Berwick.

Jen Harle added two goals.

SCARBOROUGH 6, MASSABESIC 1: Erin Giles recorded eight strikeouts as Scarborough (6-0) beat Massabesic (0-5) at Waterboro.

Giles and Mo Hannan had a pair of singles each for the Red Storm.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 23, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 7: Gillian Foss was 2 for 3 with a triple and four runs, and Amy Twohig was 3 for 4 with three runs to lead the Seagulls (3-2) past the Panthers (0-3) at Yarmouth.

Kylie Dalbec went 2 for 2 with two runs for NYA.

 

THORNTON ACADEMY 15, WINDHAM 3: Christy Remmes doubled twice and drove in three runs to help the Golden Trojans (5-0) defeat the Eagles (1-4) in six innings at Saco.

Lauren Titus also had two hits and three RBI, and Meghan Agger hit a solo homer for Thornton.

GREELY 9, FREEPORT 2: Danielle Cimino pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk, and Caroline Hamilton had three hits with an RBI and three runs for the Rangers (5-1) against the Falcons (1-5) at Freeport.

Cimino also had two hits.

 

YARMOUTH 16, TRAIP ACADEMY 2: Suzanne Driscoll helped end the game with a three-run double in a six-run sixth as Yarmouth (5-1) defeated Traip Academy (0-5) in six innings at Kittery.

Driscoll finished with a team-leading four RBI. Cassidy Cleaves, Alexis Sullivan and Abby Hutchinson added three hits each. Cleaves doubled, scored twice and drove in a run.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, WELLS 1: Sarah Harriman pitched a four-hitter with 13 strikeouts and one walk, and Maddie Pearson had four hits with three RBI and two runs as the Raiders (7-0) defeated the Warriors (3-3) at Wells.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 13, NOBLE 0: Alexis Bogdanovich tossed a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts, and went 3 for 4 with a home run to lead the Red Riots (6-0) past the Knights (2-4) at North Berwick.

 

BIDDEFORD 5, GORHAM 0: Sarah Gilblair pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk as the Tigers (6-0) beat the Rams (2-3) at Gorham.
