CUMBERLAND — Sarah Harriman pitched a two-hitter and went 2 for 3 with a home run to lead Fryeburg Academy to an 11-0 win over Greely in a Western Maine Conference softball game Monday.

Harriman struck out 11 and walked two. Ashley Watkins added two hits and two RBI for Fryeburg (9-0), which led 5-0 after two innings and added five runs in the fifth.

Greely is 5-3.

 

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, WELLS 1: Emmy Ham hit a two-run double in the third inning, and the Capers (5-2) held on to beat the Warriors (4-4) at Cape Elizabeth.

Cape pitcher Ally Boyington allowed five hits. Kelsey Bragdon gave up three hits for Wells, which scored in the sixth on a triple by Megan Lewia and a groundout by Jill Sledzieski.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 18, NYA 0: Alex Thompson hit two homers and drove in six runs as the Patriots (3-4) beat the Panthers (0-5) in a five-inning game at Yarmouth.

Thompson homered in the second and third innings, helping the Patriots build a 15-0 lead after three innings.

Maggie Chaplin struck out six and walked one while allowing just one hit.

 

LAKE REGION 10, FREEPORT 0: Allison Clark pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks and also drove in a pair of runs as the Lakers (3-4) downed the Falcons (1-6) at Naples.

Kristina Morton added a single, a double and two RBI, and Heidi Jewett drove in three runs.

Freeport’s hit was a single by Leigh Wyman.

 

YARMOUTH 12, YORK 0: Julie Dursema went 4 for 4 with three runs scored and three RBI as the Clippers (6-1) defeated the Wildcats (1-7) in five innings at Yarmouth.

MacKenzie Gray also drove in three runs. She had three hits and scored twice.

Laura Kleppinger gave up two hits, struck out five and walked one through three innings.

FALMOUTH 15, POLAND 0: Kelsey Freedman took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and finished with a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and four walks as the Yachtsmen (5-2) downed the Knights (2-8) in five innings at Poland.

Jessie L’Heureux had three hits, including a double and a triple, scored three runs and drove in one.

Allison Morris had Poland’s only hit.

 

SANFORD 10, WESTBROOK 7: The Redskins (4-2) took a 4-0 lead in the first two innings and held off the Blue Blazes (3-5) at Westbrook.

Jamie Bougie hit a two-run double and scored on a double by Faith Crosby in a Sanford’s three-run second. RBI singles by Christine Tovey and Heather Leblanc helped the Redskins add three in the fourth for a 7-2 lead.

Kayla Winton drove in three runs for Westbrook. Katelyn Benson and Kayla Tibbetts each had two RBI.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, GORHAM 0: Alexis Bogdanovich struck out 14, walked one and scattered six hits to lead the Red Riots (8-0) past the Rams (3-4) at Gorham.

Bogdanovich also had three hits, including two triples and two RBI. Katlin Norton singled, double and tripled and scored twice.

MASSABESIC 7, PORTLAND 5: Emily Schatz hit a grand slam in the second and Kassidy Hill added a two-run shot in the third as the Mustangs (2-5) built a 7-0 lead and held off the Bulldogs (0-6) at Waterboro.

Karissa McCoy had an RBI single for Massabesic in the first inning.

KENNEBUNK 6, DEERING 0: Hannah King struck out eight and walked one while pitching a three-hitter and also drove in a run to lead Kennebunk (3-2) past Deering (1-6) at Portland.

Janelle Bouchard hit a two-run homer and Brittany Madore added a pair of hits, including a triple.

Deering’s Kaylee Wheeler pitched a four-hitter with three strikeouts and five walks.

MARSHWOOD 7, CHEVERUS 4: Kim Hussey drove in the tying and go-ahead runs with a single in the fourth inning as the Hawks (2-5) beat the Stags (1-6) at South Berwick.

Ashley Eastman had four hits and a run scored for the Hawks, and April St. Pierre went 3 for 4 with an RBI. Nicole Harvey pitched a three-hitter.

Katie Roy drove in a run with a fielder’s choice grounder and hit a triple for Cheverus.

 

NOBLE 16, BONNY EAGLE 9: Becca Osborne went 3 for 3 with a double, a three-run homer and seven RBI to lead the Knights (4-4) past the Scots (2-5) at North Berwick.

Bonny Eagle scored five runs in the fourth to tie the game at 7, but Noble responded with three runs in the bottom half and six in the fifth.

Amber Kelly added a solo homer for Noble, and Molly Pritchett drove in a pair of runs.

Mariah Harrison hit two doubles and scored a run for the Scots.

 

GEORGES VALLEY 17, WINTHROP 0: Rachel Frye struck out nine and gave up just three hits as the Buccaneers (5-0) beat the Ramblers (1-4) in five innings at Thomaston.

Jesse Veilleux and Jill Bradbury each drove in three runs with a single and a double.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 3, MARANACOOK 2: Ericka Christensen hit an RBI single in the top of the eighth to give the Panthers (7-0) a win over the Black Bears (5-2) at Readfield.

Desiree Benner pitched all eight innings for Medomak, giving up seven hits while striking out six. Maranacook’s Sarah Boynton also fanned six and allowed eight hits.

 

ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, MORSE 3: The Eagles (5-3) scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge the Shipbuilders (1-7) at South China.

Hannah Russell had two hits and Jacelyn McNeill hit a double for Morse.

YARMOUTH 18, YORK 10: Becca Bell had four goals and an assist for the Clippers (4-1), who raced to a 13-4 halftime lead against the visiting Wildcats (1-3).

Natalie Salmon added three goals and two assists, and Devin Simsarian also scored three goals for Yarmouth.

Ruby Cribby had four goals for York.

 

WINDHAM 13, MCAULEY 10: Sam Gifford scored seven goals and added an assist for the Eagles (4-2) in a victory over the Lions (3-3) at Windham.

Bebe Butts added two goals, including the go-ahead goal midway through the second half.

Windham goaltender Nicole Kennedy made 16 saves.

Sadie DiPierro paced McAuley with two goals and two assists.

 

BONNY EAGLE 18, PORTLAND 14: Kate Boyer scored seven goals and Sam Campobasso added five for the Scots (2-3), who held off a late charge by the Bulldogs (3-3) at Standish.

Raechel Allen had five goals, and Drew Barry and Catherine Flaherty each added three for Portland.

SCARBOROUGH 10, MASSABESIC 5: Mary Scott had three goals for the Red Storm (4-1), who outscored the Mustangs 5-1 in the second half at Waterboro.

Maggie Smith and Kat Gadbois each scored twice for Scarborough. Nikki Smith had three goals for Massabesic (3-2).

 

MARSHWOOD 9, CHEVERUS 5: Janay Wright scored four goals and Erica Sedler added three as the Hawks (4-2) raced out to a 6-0 halftime lead and held off the Stags (1-5) at Portland.

Cheverus was led by Paige Lucas with two goals.

SOUTH PORTLAND 15, SANFORD 6: Victoria Brookings had four goals and an assist to pace the Red Riots (4-1) against visiting Sanford (2-3).

Anh Nguyen added three goals and an assist, and Felicia Farnham had a goal and four assists.

Haley Nordmann and Nicole Bordeau each scored three for the Redskins.

 

GORHAM 17, WESTBROOK 5: Mia Rapolla scored five goals, and Chelsea Black added three goals and three assists as the Rams (6-0) cruised past the Blue Blazes (2-4) at Westbrook.

Ciera Bellino led Westbrook with three goals.

GREELY 15, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Cameron Keefe and Catherine Ferguson each scored three goals as the Rangers (3-2) rolled past the Raiders (0-5) at Cumberland.

Ellie Jones scored for Fryeburg.

 

KENNEBUNK 19, NOBLE 2: Camille Auger collected four goals and three assists, and Taylor Crowley added three goals and one assist as the Rams (5-0) cruised to a win over the Knights (0-6) at Kennebunk.

Rose Bryant chipped in with two goals and five assists.

Both Noble goals were scored by Courtney Chabot.
