Investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office have charged a Harpswell man with burning down an apartment building he owns along with other family members.
Authorities arrested Morgan Pulsifer, 51, of Cundy’s Harbor on Monday afternoon after he was interviewed. He is charged with arson and is being held on $25,000 bail in Cumberland County Jail.
The fire broke out in the middle of the day at a three-unit apartment house at 61 Little Ponds Road. Pulsifer had recently moved to the building from New York, according to the Department of Public Safety. Nobody was injured in the fire.
