FALMOUTH — Danielle Cimino hit a two-run home run in the top of the eighth and Greely held off Falmouth for an 11-10 victory Tuesday in a Western Maine Conference softball game.

Cimino’s homer scored Katie Wittum, who had singled.

Alli Carver scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth, but the Yachtsmen (7-5) left the tying run on third.

The Rangers (8-5) pulled into a 9-9 tie with four runs in the sixth.

DEERING 10, WINDHAM 3: Sara Brink and Chelsey Saucier hit two-run triples in the fifth inning as the Rams (3-10) raced to a 10-1 lead against the Eagles (2-11) at Portland.

Brink finished with three RBI and catcher Alexis Elowitch threw out two runners at second base.

Kaylee Wheeler pitched a three-hitter for Deering, all singles by Kaitlin Tucker.

LAKE REGION 6, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Casey Heath tripled home two runs and then scored as the Lakers (7-6) broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning against the Rangers (3-11) at Naples.

Heath’s triple to left-center scored Rachel Wandishin and Sam Marucci, and Hannah Cutting drove in Heath with a groundout.

Allison Clark pitched a two-hitter, striking out nine and walking one.

THORNTON ACADEMY 16, BONNY EAGLE 0: Julia Geaumont and Morgan Dube combined on a no-hitter and the Golden Trojans (10-2) opened with nine runs in the first inning against the visiting Scots (4-8).

Geaumont had four strikeouts in four innings and Dube pitched the fifth.

Geaumont also had two hits, including a three-run homer, while Lauren Titus was 4 for 4, driving in six runs on two three-run doubles.

Jordan Agger added a solo homer and had two hits.

KENNEBUNK 5, NOBLE 2: Hannah King’s three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth gave the Rams (11-2) a victory over Noble (8-6) at Kennebunk.

Devon Goss forced extra innings with a game-tying home run for the Knights in the seventh.

King, who had two hits and four RBI, also pitched a three-hitter with one walk and 13 strikeouts.

BIDDEFORD 8, PORTLAND 4: Katelyn LeBreux pitched a five-hitter and scored four runs, leading the Tigers (9-4) past the Bulldogs (0-12) at Portland.

LeBreux, who tripled, doubled and walked twice, struck out 11 and walked one. Mariah Albert had two hits with three RBI and two runs.

Leanne Reichert had two hits and two RBI for Portland.

SANFORD 6, MASSABESIC 0: Sam Adams picked up her second shutout by pitching a two-hitter with six strikeouts, leading the Redskins (8-5) past the Mustangs (3-9) at Sanford.

Heather LeBlanc hit a two-run double in a four-run third inning.

Kellie Tovey had two hits with two RBI and Rochelle Osburn had two hits and an RBI.

Emily Schatz hit a triple for Massabesic.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 4, WINSLOW 3: Kasey Benner’s pinch-hit, two-run homer capped a three-run sixth inning, giving the Panthers (13-1) a win over Winslow (9-4) at Waldoboro.

LACROSSE

GREELY 13, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Paige Tuller scored three goals and Meagan Labbe added two as the Rangers (5-4) beat the Raiders (0-10) at Fryeburg.

Emily Heggie and Kendra Fox scored for Fryeburg.

WINDHAM 16, BIDDEFORD 13: Sam Gifford had seven goals and three assists to lead the Eagles (6-3) past the Tigers (0-9) at Windham.

Bebe Butts added four goals and two assists for Windham, which led 10-3 at halftime.

AnnMarie Rowe and Jenna Roy each had four goals for the Tigers and Mallory Morin scored three.

WAYNFLETE 17, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 4: Sadie Cole had six goals and Martha Vernoneau added four as the Flyers (9-1) handled the Panthers (4-6) at Yarmouth.

Emily Claytor had two goals for NYA.

YORK 10, FREEPORT 7: Mackie Hall and Ruby Cribby each scored five times to power York (5-5) past the Falcons (5-6) in Freeport.

Cribby also had an assist.

Aubrey Pennell scored three times for Freeport and Lauren Easler scored twice.

KENNEBUNK 14, GORHAM 13: Emily Kessel took Rose Bryant’s pass at midfield and scored her second goal of the game with 2:32 to play as Kennebunk (10-1) defeated Gorham (9-2) at Kennebunk.

Taylor Cowley led Kennebunk with four goals and an assist.

Mia Rapolla had five goals for Gorham; Kali St. Germain and Meghan Cushing each scored three.

CAPE ELIZABETH 12, WELLS 10: Anna Darling had three goals and two assists and Talley Perkins also had three goals as the Capers (7-3) topped the visiting Warriors (3-6).

Brenna Trefethen had four goals, Jennie Li three and Mariyah Heath two for Wells.

McAULEY 11, SANFORD 6: Clare McLaughlin had four goals and Tori Tenenbaum and Taxia Arabatsis each scored two as the Lions (6-5) beat the Redskins (5-5) at Portland.

Caroline L’Heureux had two goals for Sanford.

BRUNSWICK 16, OXFORD HILLS 4: Dakota Foster had four goals and four assists, and Suzannah Smith added four goals and two assists to lead the Dragons (8-2) over Oxford Hills (4-6) in Brunswick.
