• Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris debuts “The Fabulous Problemas” beginning Friday and Saturday and continuing June 10-11.

In this new comedy, a renegade trio schemes to make it rich with a life of crime, violence, song and dance. The show stars Amanda Huotari, Daniel Orrantia and Aaron Tucker. Davis Robinson directs. Showtime is 8 p.m., and doors open at     7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 ($8 for seniors and students), and are available by calling Celebration Barn’s box office at 743-8452.

This original show marks a new Colombian-American collaboration that began last summer at Celebration Barn. It tells the story of three desperados dreaming of riches and willing to do anything. They lie, cheat and steal from each other until they decide to band together and form a gang.
Huotari is executive director of Celebration Barn. Orrantia is a Colombian improviser and graphic designer. Tucker has worked as a professional circus clown and toured the U.S. extensively with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
