BANGOR — Police say the body of an elderly female was pulled from the Kenduskeag Stream in downtown Bangor.
The body was spotted at about 9:45 a.m. Monday near Central Street.
The death is not considered to be suspicious. It is being investigated by police and the office of the Maine Medical Examiner.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the woman’s family.
