AUGUSTA — Maine state parks are giving Maine residents a free pass for Father’s Day.

The Bureau of Parks and Lands says all 48 state parks and historic sites are letting in Maine residents for free today.

All vehicles with Maine license plates will be allowed free entry between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Officials say more than 2.6 million people visited Maine state parks and historic sites last year.
