Bill Libby of Portland and his son Rowan, 2, walk back along the jetty after visiting the Spring Point Lighthouse in South Portland on Father’s Day, when the light was open for the first tours of the season. Rowan was a little too small to climb up the ladder to the inside of the light, but got to walk around it and touch it.The view from atop Spring Point Lighthouse, which was built for $45,000 between 1895 and 1897.
