CAPE ELIZABETH — Among the true signs of a Maine summer – surfers without wetsuits, roadside berry stands – is the raising of the mile markers for the state’s most popular road race.
The 14th running of the Beach to Beacon 10K is scheduled for Aug. 6, one month from today.
Darren Brown and Jason Emery of Cape Elizabeth Public Works did the honors this morning, so go ahead and start those mile repeats.
