7/19 at 6:19 p.m. Brian A. Merrill, 31, of Augusta, was arrested by Officer Paul Powers on Main Street on a charge of aggravated assault.

7/19 at 7:07 p.m. Adrienne R. Bilodeau, 32, of Readfield, was arrested by Sgt. John Perrino on Main Street on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

7/23 at 1:46 p.m. Morgan P. Pettit, 30, of Pownal Road, was arrested by Officer Brandon Paxton on Main Street on charges of operating while a license is suspended or revoked and violating condition of release.

Summonses

7/22 at 11:34 a.m. Matthew Smith, 24, of Bowdoin, was issued a summons by Officer Keith Norris on Main Street on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and possession of marijuana.

Missed the boat

7/18 at 10:34 p.m. Police were notified of a sick or injured raccoon on Lower Flying Point Road at the L.L. Bean outdoor paddling facility. The matter was addressed and the animal was removed by an officer.

Not so super

7/23 at 6:55 p.m. Police were contacted after employees at the Super 8 Motel on Route 1 reported threatening phone calls. Police report the caller was allegedly not pleased with the room rates. The caller was not identified, police report.
