SHAPLEIGH — Maine State police are investigating the unattended death of a man who apparently died tonight on an island in Shapleigh.
A state police dispatcher said the man’s body was removed by paramedics from Birch Island on Mousam Lake Monday night. The lake is located off Route 11.
Authorities were notified at 9:36 p.m. No other details are available at this time.
