With classes scheduled to begin soon, voters in School Administrative District 61 have finally approved an education budget.

It took voters in Bridgton, Casco, Naples and Sebago three attempts, but during polling held today the $26.6 million spending package passed by a vote of 906 in favor and 820 against.

The budget passed because a majority of voters from the four communities approved it, despite it being rejected by voters in Casco and Sebago.
