SOUTH PORTLAND — The Portland Water District expects part of Cottage Road to be closed until around 9 p.m. tonight, as crews repair a water main break.
Approximately 15 water customers, including some businesses in the area, remain without water this afternoon.

SOUTH PORTLAND — Cottage Road is closed between E and Thomas streets because of a water main break.
Traffic is being detoured and drivers are asked to avoid the area, according to a media release this morning from the Portland Water District. About 10 businesses, including the Hannaford supermarket at Mill Creek, are without water. District officials hope to restore water to those businesses by late this afternoon.
