ORONO — The University of Maine basketball team kicks off its season Nov. 11 with a road game against Rhode Island of the Atlantic 10 conference.
Head Coach Ted Woodward released the squad’s 2011-12 schedule today.
Besides its America East conference games, the team’s non-conference schedule includes games against Notre Dame, the University of San Diego, Holy Cross and Eastern Illinois.
Maine’s regular season ends Feb. 26 with a game at Stony Brook.
