PORTLAND — There will staggered overnight closures of the northbound and southbound off-ramps to Riverside Street at Exit 48 on the Maine Turnpike tonight and Wednesday, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The northbound off-ramp will be closed beginning at 9 tonight to accommodate milling of the old pavement. When that is complete, the northbound off-ramp will reopen and the southbound off-ramp will close so its pavement can also be milled.

Beginning Wednesday night at 9 p.m., the northbound off-ramp will be closed for paving. When that is complete, the northbound off-ramp will reopen and the southbound off-ramp will close so it can be paved.

Turnpike patrons wishing to access Riverside Street from the north or south can use Exit 47.

Roadside, electronic message boards will flash notification of the closures during the hours the ramps are closed.
