9/21 at 11:01 p.m. Faith Goldsmith, 25, of Juniper Ledge, was arrested by Officer Michael Pierce on Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence.

9/23 at 11:41 p.m. Gregory M. Leighton, 49, of Cumberland, was arrested by Officer Roger Moore on Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

9/25 at 6:09 p.m. Edward J. Patterson, 42, of Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Joshua Robinson on West Main Street on charges of operating while license is suspended or revoked and failure to produce evidence of insurance.

Extra credit

9/21 at 8:31 p.m. A teacher driving near West Elm and Portland streets contacted police to report what he thought was a former student who threw a rock at his windshield.

9/22 at 8:55 a.m. Police were notified of a counterfeit $1 bill discovered at the Bath Savings Institution institution. Police reportedly contact the Secret Service to have them catalog the counterfeit bill.
