PORTLAND  — A 29-year-old man is going to prison for more than seven years for cocaine trafficking.

Wolker Georges, of Portland, was sentenced to 87 months Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Portland.

Georges was convicted in May of supplying multiple-ounce quantities of cocaine to other drug dealers in Maine in 2008. When he was arrested, drug agents seized $25,000 worth of cocaine, digital scales, two handguns and more than $30,000 in cash.
