Funky phone call

On Sept. 26, someone came into the public safety building to report receiving a suspicious phone call. Police took a report.

Muffler mistake

On Sept. 30, police went to Midas Muffler on Larrabee Road after a passerby reported seeing someone inside the building after hours. It was the owner working on a vehicle.

Drug no-deal

On Oct. 2, police went to the corner of Lincoln and Winslow streets after getting a report of what appeared to be drug activity going on there. Police found no sign of drugs at the scene.

Greenlaw, 18, of 37 Haskell St., Westbrook, charged with violating conditions of release, refusing to submit to arrested or detention (refusing to stop), criminal mischief, hindering apprehension or prosecution, and attempted burglary of a motor vehicle, on Webster Avenue. Also arrested was Richard Splude Jr., 20, of 220 Brown St., Westbrook, charged with refusing to submit to arrest or detention (refusing to stop), criminal mischief, and attempted burglary of a motor vehicle.
