Naples Construction update

After some heavy delays this week, a break from the inconvenience! As promised, traffic is not to be stopped during the week of the Fryeburg Fair. But, with all the traffic headed toward Fryeburg, is it really that much different? My advice, take the back way. After the fair they will add another 1.5 inches of pavement and finish the shoulders, according to Craig Hurd, resident project engineer. The construction will resume its lightning pace once the fair is over. Remember, back way. It has been one whole year already if you can believe it. Project completion is scheduled for May, 2012. What a happy time that will be.

So long, Redneck!

The Redneck Lounge is moving to Bridgton! We will miss Janice and Sid Shane and their Redneck ways, but I, for one, plan on visiting their exciting new location at the Bridgton Commons, Route 117, when they open in mid- to late-October.
