York High School‘s Athletic Hall of Fame will induct its inaugural class on Sunday, Nov. 27, at the American Legion Banquet Hall.
The first group of inductees includes Rob Berry (Class of 1981), Wayne Boardman (1969), Kristen Briggs (1992), Bob Butler Sr., Kathy Calo (1979), Robert Craig (1937), Larry Ellis (1939), Dave Fernald (1969), Ralph Gile (1940), Ned Grieg (1975), Rich Labonte (1981), Larry Lapham, Elizabeth Sawyer Hoefler (1953), Angie Suffridge (1987), Mike Sullivan.

Peter Labrecque aced the sixth hole at Gorham Country Club on Oct. 3. Labrecque used a 7-iron for the 141-yard shot, which was witnessed by Bob Webb and Bob Jarry.
Dennis Estes of Brunswick recorded a hole-in-one Wednesday on the 168-yard sixth hole at Sebasco Harbor Resort, using a 6-iron.
