The Central Maine Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams will conduct a skills and drills clinic on Saturday morning. The clinic for boys in grades 3-6 will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m, while the clinic for girls in grades 3-6 will be from noon to 2 p.m. The cost is $15, with proceeds benefiting the basketball teams. The St. Joseph’s College women’s basketball team will hold a shooting clinic for girls in grades 3-9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 6 in the Harold Alfond Center. Katahdin Field Hockey Club, one of the leading premier travel clubs in Maine, will be holding tryouts on Nov. 12 from 1-4 p.m. at Yourspace Sports and Recreation Complex in Gorham, and on Nov. 19 from 9 a.m.-noon at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham.
