CUMBERLAND – Melanie Vangel scored the only goal to give Cape Elizabeth a 1-0 win over Greely in a Western Maine Conference girls’ soccer match Saturday.

Ali Johnson made four saves for the Capers (11-0-2), ranked first in Western Class A. Lindsey Arsenault had a pair of stops for fourth-ranked Greely (12-2).

YARMOUTH 1, FALMOUTH 0: Julia Primeau scored 11:11 into the first half as the Clippers (6-7) edged the Yachtsmen (8-4-1) at Falmouth.

Shannon Fallon had 11 saves for Yarmouth. Caroline Lucas stopped 12 shots for Falmouth.

CHEVERUS 1, KENNEBUNK 0: Abby Maker scored seven minutes into the second half and Mikayla Mayberry made four saves to lead the Stags (9-1-2) past the Rams (6-6-1) at Cape Elizabeth.

Jen Richardson made eight saves for Kennebunk.

SCARBOROUGH 4, BIDDEFORD 0: Haley Carignan scored twice to lead Scarborough (10-1-2) at Biddeford (2-10-1).

Jessica Meader and Ashley Ronzo also scored.

WESTBROOK 3, MCAULEY 0: Emily Thornton, Katie Clark and Emily Mullen scored and Marissa Martel collected two assists to lead the Blue Blazes (2-11) past the Lions (2-9-2) at Westbrook.

YORK 3, LAKE REGION 0: Kayla Swasey opened the scoring in the first half and Addie LaBonte added a pair of second-half goals as the Wildcats (9-3-1) blanked the Lakers (5-7-1) at Naples.

BRUNSWICK 4, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Dakota Foster scored three times and Anna Cowan added a goal as the Dragons (12-1) downed the Red Eddies (2-8-3) at Brunswick.

POLAND 5, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Emily Bolduc scored two goals as the Knights (5-9) cruised past the Rangers (4-8-1) at Poland.

Makayla Dube, Sophie Spiller and Jen Powell also scored, and Emma Turton and Anna Bolduc each had two assists.

Katherine Bolt scored for Traip Academy with 33 seconds remaining.

FREEPORT 4, NYA 0: Alyssa Richardson had a goal and an assist to help the Falcons (6-7) down the Panthers (2-11) at Yarmouth.

Aubrey Pennell, Jess Hench and Katie O’Neil also scored. Abby Roney made five saves for the shutout.

WAYNFLETE 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Walker Foehl chipped in a goal off a cross and Lyllie Harvey converted a breakaway as the Flyers (11-2) cruised past the Patriots (4-8-1) at Portland.

Becky Smith contributed a goal and an assist.

RICHMOND 7, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Danica Hurley scored three goals and Sadie Gosse added two to lead the Bobcats (12-1) past the Hawks (5-8-1) at South Hiram.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 4, BOOTHBAY 1: Alexi Deering scored three goals to lead the Phoenix (7-6) past the Seahawks (3-11) at Livermore Falls.
