HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Maine field hockey team rallied for a 5-4 road win over Hofstra on Sunday. Zoe Adkins scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Holly Stewart in the 63rd minute as the Black Bears (14-2) came back on Hofstra (11-6).
BOWDOIN 2, AMHERST 1: Katie Riley scored the game-winning goal in penalty strokes to lift the third-ranked Polar Bears (10-0, 8-0) to a win over the eighth-ranked Lord Jeffs (9-2, 6-2) in a NESCAC game at Brunswick.
TUFTS 7, BATES 1: Lexie Carter scored the lone goal for the Bobcats (3-9, 1-7) as they fell to the 13th-ranked Jumbos (10-2, 6-2) in a NESCAC game at Lewiston.
COLBY 4, HAMILTON 2: Caroline Chessare scored a pair of goals 48 seconds apart as the Mules (3-8, 1-7) downed the Continentals (5-6, 3-5) in a NESCAC game at Waterville.
