BANGOR — Authorities say a 67-year-old Patten woman involved in a car crash late last week has died.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department says Patricia Adams died yesterday at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
Adams was involved in a head-on crash with another vehicle on Route 11 in Patten on Friday.
The other driver has been identified as Kristy Morneault of Madawaska. Information on her condition was not available.
The cause remains under investigation, but investigators tell the Bangor Daily News both women were wearing seat belts and speed does not appear to be a factor.
