William P. “Paul” Casavant, 83, died on Nov. 14, 2011 at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, surrounded by his loving family. William donated his body to the University of New England to be used for medical science. There will be no visitation. James William “Jim” Staples, 75, of Flagler Beach, Fla., went home to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, after suffering a stroke and cardiac arrest. Jim was a very private person who disliked formal funeral and memorial services. Joseph C. Violette, 76, of Waterboro, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at his home following a long illness. Visiting hours will be 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at Hope Memorial Chapel.
