CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Reggie Bullock scored a career- high 23 points and Kendall Marshall had 15 assists to help No. 1 North Carolina beat Tennessee State 102-69 on Tuesday night.

John Henson added 16 points, 10 rebounds and a career-best six assists for the Tar Heels (4-0), who shot 62 percent. North Carolina led 55-42 at halftime, then used a 14-0 spurt early in the second half to blow the game open and crack the 100-point mark for the second time in three days.

Harrison Barnes also scored 16 for UNC, which had a dozen players score and four reach double figures.

Kellen Thornton scored 15 points to lead the Tigers (2-3). Tennessee State hung around in the first half, hitting seven of 11 3-pointers in the game, but the Tar Heels held the Tigers to 11-for-33 shooting (33 percent) after halftime.

No. 6 Duke 82, No. 15 Michigan 75

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Austin Rivers scored 20 points, Seth Curry and Ryan Kelly had 17 each and Duke shot its way into another Maui Invitational championship game with a victory over Michigan.

Duke (6-0) put on an offensive show, scoring on an array of 3-pointers and spectacular shots to remain undefeated (14-0) at the Maui Invitational, where Duke has won four titles since 1992.

Andre Dawkins added 14 points and the Blue Devils hit 11 of 21 3- pointers while shooting 56 percent overall to earn a spot in tonight’s title game against No. 14 Kansas.

Michigan ( 4- 1) struggled early, falling behind by 16, and fought its way back by hitting 21 of 34 shots in the second half. Tim Hardaway Jr. had 19 points and Trey Burke added 17 points and nine assists.

No. 7 Louisville 54, Arkansas State 27

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kyle Kuric scored 12 points and Louisville beat turnoverprone Arkansas State in the lowest-scoring game for the Red Wolves since the shot clock was implemented in 1986.

Gorgui Dieng added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Cardinals ( 4- 0) as they continue to deal with a swath of injuries, including one to starting point guard Peyton Siva. Arkansas State ( 1- 4) committed 22 turnovers for a second straight game and shot 24.4 percent from the field.

Louisville last held a team to fewer than 27 points in 1947, when the Cardinals beat Georgetown College 20- 13. Louisville has not allowed more than 54 points to anyone this season.

Brandon Peterson had six points and 10 rebounds for Arkansas State, which had its lowest offensive output since beating Wisconsin-Green Bay 24-23 during the 1981-82 season.

No. 8 Memphis 99, Tennessee 97, 2OT

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Will Barton had 25 points and 11 rebounds, Antonio Barton hit a big jumper in the second overtime and Memphis held off Tennessee in the Maui Invitational.

A day after bogging down against Michigan, Memphis (2-1) had its up-tempo game going in full gear while building a 16-point lead in the first half. The Tigers let Tennessee claw its way back and had to withstand last-second shots in both overtimes to pull out the victory.

Antonio Barton had 21 points and Adonis Thomas added 19 points for Memphis.

Jeronne Maymon almost single-handedly led the Vols (2-2) to victory, with 32 points, 20 rebounds and a tying shot in the closing seconds of regulation. Maymon also hit 16 of 17 free throws, but his turnaround jumper at the second overtime buzzer fell short.

No. 9 Baylor 70, So. Carolina State 50

WACO, Texas ( AP) — Anthony Jones scored a career-high 21 points, including two 3- pointers in the opening stretch of the second half when Baylor took control against South Carolina State.

Baylor (4-0) opened the second half by scoring 14 consecutive points in just more than 4 minutes. That came after the Bears had scored the last five points of the first half to break the final tie.

Brandon Riley scored 13 points to lead South Carolina State (2-2), but also had nine turnovers.

No. 11 Wisconsin 77, UMKC 31

MADISON, Wis. ( AP) — Jared Berggren scored a career-high 21 points and Wisconsin again used a suffocating defense to pave the way to an easy win, beating Missouri Kansas City.

The Badgers (4-0) came into the game giving up an NCAAbest 35 points a game while allowing their opponents to shoot just 28 percent. The Kangaroos ( 1- 4) came out strong by comparison, hitting three of their first five shots, but ended up shooting only 21 percent from the field.

Wisconsin reeled off an 18-2 run over a 9-minute stretch in the first half and followed that not long after with a 15-3 spurt punctuated by 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions by Mike Bruesewitz.

No. 14 Kansas 72, UCLA 56

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Elijah Johnson scored 23 points and Kansas nearly blew all of a 20- point lead before pulling away to beat UCLA in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational.

Thomas Robinson had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Tyshawn Taylor added 13 points and six assists and the Jayhawks (3-1) reached Wednesday night’s championship game against No. 6 Duke.

UCLA (1-3) got off to a brutal start and rallied to trim a 20- point lead down to five before running out of steam. Tyler Lamb had 15 points and Jerime Anderson added 14 for the Bruins.

No. 17 Pittsburgh 73, La Salle 69

PITTSBURGH ( AP) — Nasir Robinson scored 17 points and Pittsburgh clamped down on defense in the final minutes to put away La Salle.

Ashton Gibbs added 14 points for the Panthers (3-1) while Travon Woodall had 12 points, 10 assists and a pivotal block in the waning seconds.

The Panthers, upset at home by Long Beach State last week, appeared in trouble again after their 21st turnover let La Salle get out on the break trailing by three points with 10 seconds to go.

Earl Pettis led La Salle (2-2) with 22 points but the Explorers were outrebounded 42-24.

No. 21 Missouri 92, No. 20 California 53

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kim English had 19 points to lead six Tigers in double figures and Missouri dominated California to win the CBE Classic.

Marcus Denmon added 18 points and was the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Matt Pressey had 13 points and Michael Dixon finished with 11 for the Tigers (5-0), who won the event just a couple hours’ drive from their campus in Columbia for the second time in four appearances.
