AUBURN — Penny Lou Patenaude, 35, of Lisbon passed away late Tuesday evening, November 22nd, surrounded by her family and close friends at the Hospice House in Auburn after losing a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Penny was born June 27, 1976 the daughter of Judy Hardy- Goddard and the late Alphie Patenaude. She was raised in Lisbon where she attended Lisbon schools, graduating from Lisbon High School to later attend community college for CNA/RN.

She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends and living life to the fullest. Penny was one not afraid to speak her mind, which is what drew people to her. Her honesty, witty comments and her love for everyone around her was like no other and will never be replaced. Penny was a fighter until the end and never gave up on what she believed in, she was a very determined individual.

Penny is survived by her four amazing children; Jake, Andrew, Allyson and Ella; mother and step-father, Judy Hardy-Goddard and Norman Goddard of Lisbon; her stepmother, Julie Belanger of Lisbon; grandmothers, Starr Hardy and Cheryl Goddard of Lisbon Falls; grandparents Spencer and Pat Hardy of Florida ; Brothers, Allie and wife Adrienne of Topsham, and Richard and wife Becky of Lisbon; Sister Elizabeth and her husband Kevin Coen of VT. Brother in Law Dennis McNamara and his wife Amy. Nephews Michael and Nick McNamara, Bailey and Peyton Patenaude and Seth and Luke Patenaude. A niece Madison McNamara. Her cousin James Fowler and his wife Ashley and their children Tyler and Jameson. Her special cousins/nieces Jamalyn, Katelyn and Kayla. Her beloved Aunts, Linda Fowler and husband James of Lisbon Falls, and Jamie Hardy of Lisbon Falls; her loving Uncle Michael Hardy of Bowdoin. She is also survived by many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to numerous to list.

She was predeceased by her sister; Kerri Patenaude- McNamara; her father Alphie Patenaude, Jr. and her great grandparents Linwood and Mabel Russell.

Visitation Crosman Funeral Home Fri. 2- 4 & 6- 8 p. m. Funeral Lisbon Falls Baptist Church Sat. 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
