Twelve Maine senior high school football players have been announced as semifinalists for the James J. Fitzpatrick Trophy.
They are Shawn Carroll of Lawrence, Samuel Chaves, Massabesic; Donald Clark, Cape Elizabeth; Spencer Cooke, Cheverus; John Doyon, Hampden Academy; Jordan Hersom, Leavitt; Luke Libby, Thornton Academy; Logan Mars, Scarborough; Dominic Mowers, Orono; Graham Strondak, Westbrook; Louis DiTomasso, Wells, and Isaiha Tracy, Mt. Blue.
Three finalists will be announced on Dec. 18 and the awarding of the Fitzpatrick Trophy will be at the annual banquet to be held Jan. 15 at the Holiday Inn By The Bay in Portland.
