Music and Nightlife: Barr Brothers to play One Longfellow

THE BARR BROTHERS taught themselves to play music on homemade string instruments. They had an improv-rock trio called The Slip for a decade or so, and now are known for songs with complicated string arrangements that are influenced by a bunch of musical traditions. The Brothers will share a bill with multi-instrumentalist Jocie Adams on Saturday.

Art and Theater: Broadway sound at Good Theater
