BOWDOINHAM — State Police say a Brunswick woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing a Bowdoinham street.
Authorities say 58-year-old Helen Koulouris was struck at about 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Police say she was looking for a residence and parked her vehicle on the side of Fisher Road. She was walking across the street when she was struck.
Koulouris was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick where she died.
Police identified the driver of the truck that struck Koulouris as 42-year-old Lisa Green of Bowdoinham. Green said she did not see Kouloouris, who was wearing dark clothing. She said she stopped immediately upon feeling the impact and has not been charged.
