ROCKLAND — Investigators with the state Fire Marshal’s Office say a fire Thursday night at an apartment house on Talbot Avenue was intentionally set by a woman who lives there.

The 35-year-old woman was not injured and the fire was confined to the kitchen. The smoke and heat damaged the rest of the apartment and there was minor smoke damage to tthe other three apartments in the building.

Authorities have not made a decison on whether to charge the woman, who is currently hospitallized. They would not release her name.
