The Mt. Ararat High School Music Department will host a fundraising mattress sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Mt. Ararat High School Commons.

The event, run by Custom Fundraising Solutions, is one that has been very successful in other school districts across the country in the last four years, according to a Mt. Ararat High School Music Department announcement about the fundraiser, “and we now have the opportunity to run this event here at Mt. Ararat.”

There will be 15 to 20 different mattress sets on display, including the Consumer Digest Best Buy Mattress. Visitors can try out mattresses and ask a team of Custom Fundraising Solutions experts about the products.

“No pressure, just savings to our community from 30-60 percent below retail,” the release states. Mattress sets start at $199.

Funds raised will be used for the Mt. Ararat High School Music Department trip to the Heritage Music Festival in Washington, D.C., in April 2012.
