BRUNSWICK — Peter Gaudreau, 49, resident of Verna Lane in Brunswick died peacefully at Mid Coast Senior Health Center in Brunswick, December 3, 2011 following a long illness. He was born July 10, 1962 in Bath, ME a son of Theodore F. “Ted” and Nancy G. (Small) Gaudreau. He was educated in Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School with the Class of 1981.

Peter was employed for many years in the Environmental Services Department at Mid Coast Hospital up until his illness prevented him from working. He enjoyed the many friendships that he made at the hospital over his many years of service.

He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Bath. Peter was very family oriented, he was fond of the family gatherings where he could be together with his entire family and was especially fond of the time he was able to spend with his five nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as an avid Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins fan and he also loved a good game of cards.

Survivors include his parents of Brunswick, two sisters, Holly A. and her husband Brian Hallowell of Mt. Vernon, ME, Linda L. and her husband Miles Fenderson of Falmouth, ME, one uncle, Jack and his wife Vickey Gaudreau, an aunt Pauline Wyman, two nephews, Matthew and Spencer Hallowell and three nieces, Kelsey Hallowell and Haley and Taylor Fenderson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick with Reverend Steven Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Harding Cemetery, Brunswick. In lieu of sending flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s memory to the First Baptist Church Mission Fund, 851 Washington Street, Bath, ME 04530.
