GORHAM — A cellular phone store was robbed in Gorham tonight by a man police say was packing a holstered handgun.
Sgt. Dana Thompson said the suspect entered the U.S. Cellular Store at 102 Main St. and demanded that the clerk give him money from the register.
During the robbery, the suspect, a white male about 5-foot-7, opened his black canvas hooded coat, revealing his weapon. The suspect had a slim build with brown and brown hair. He was wearing a light blue scarf.
The robber fled on foot with a small amount of cash.
Anyone with information about the robbery, which was reported at 6:40 p.m., should contact Sgt. Dana Thompson at 222-1660.
