The Sanford Elks Hoop Shoot will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sanford Junior High. The event is open to boys and girls ages 8-13 as of April 1. For more information, call Gary at 698-5963.
The Bowdoin College hockey teams will hold their annual “Skate with the Polar Bears” food drive from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. Sunday at Sidney J. Watson Arena. The cost of admission is one non-perishable food item or paper product, which will be donated to a local food bank. The skate is open to people of all ages. Children should bring a protective helmet.
